|
The purpose of this study was to reveal the association between oral health related quality of life, social support, and self-efficacy. Satisfaction of life comprised living environment, job performance, leisure activity, interpersonal relationships, and family relationships. We thought these factors affected oral health related quality of life. For this study, 200 middle-aged adults from Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam participated. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson¡¯s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with the SPSS 24.0 program. In conclusion, we obtained the following results. First, an influencing factor in social support was physical pain(¥â=.224), R2=.050. Second, an influencing factor in self-efficacy was physical pain(¥â=.195), R2=.038. According to the results, oral health related quality of life is effective in increasing social support and self-efficacy.
